⛬ WITH EYES CAST HEAVENSWARD.The BLACK CHORUS is an 18+ Free Company dedicated to cultivating and promoting various types of organic roleplay scenes within the overarching Balmung community. Our primary focus is building a cohesive and interconnected series of story lines that spans several multi-event campaigns run by our cast of unique and creative Game Masters.⛬We encourage and welcome all of our number to create and host their own events, with our officer team on-hand and at the ready to assist in whatever ways necessary. As such, we are open to characters of all alignments and backgrounds feasible within the world, including those that may “bend” or otherwise reasonably build-upon the existing lore.⛬Overall, our themes include: love, slice of life, action/combat-based, mystery, adventure, most types of horror, interpersonal tension & drama, comedic/light-hearted scenarios, and more! We are committed to exploring a plethora of different scenes in a mature and thoughtful manner, with each new roleplay experience serving to impact (to varying degrees) our characters' hearts and views.⛬As people, we are a diverse group with absolutely no tolerance for discrimination, prejudice, or racism in any forms. We are pro-LGBT and pro-BLM.

The volatile yet softhearted head of the BLACK CHORUS. Though imperfect by all accounts, her soul burns bright and resolute with an ardent wish to do good. Though gentle at heart, fate has cast her a cruel and violent lot, forbidding all escape from the chaos and conflict she so desperately abhors.

⛬ TO SWATHE ONESELF IN ARDENT SONG.To those who may be interested in joining the ranks of the BLACK CHORUS, we require a minimum of 3 IC interactions with one or more existing members before we extend an invitation to our Discord. This serves as an organic means through which we can assess your character and provides a foundation for future IC recruitment.⛬You can find a list of our usual hangouts below, all of which offer guaranteed opportunities to encounter our characters. Upon meeting the 3-interaction requirement, we will move on to a casual OOC interview involving 2-3 members of BLACK CHORUS leadership. This will take place on Discord and last approximately 20-40 minutes; the interview will consist of a few pre-written questions and any additional, spontaneous questions our officers may ask, followed by time for you to pose your questions to us, should you have any.
⛬We conduct most of our business through our CWLS; as such, we welcome people from all Crystal worlds! Those on Balmung who would prefer not to join the in-game FC are also welcome.
